He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest H. Brunner and Anna Bigler Brunner; and his siblings, Betty Brooks, Viola Sims, Alverna "Fern" Phillips, Ella Mae Ramsay, Emerson, William "Bill", Charles "Peanuts", LeRoy "Dutch", Floyd and Ernest "Shood" Brunner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
