He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis J. Caretti and Lillian Mellott Caretti; his siblings, Louis, Vernon, Ronald Caretti and Lila Caretti; and his grandson Taylor Caretti.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Doty Caretti; his children, Delmas Tom Caretti of Jacobsburg, Daniel Caretti (Sharon) of Clarington, Carol Myers (Keith) of Bethesda and Cathy Caretti of Belmont; and his sister Ida Burzenski of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
