He is survived by: his wife Judy Clifford Curry Mingus; his grandson Steven Williamson Jr. A; his siblings, Frank Mingus of Glouster and Virginia Irwin (Greg) of Sunbury; his sister-in-law Donna Mingus; his stepchildren, Heath Curry of Apple Creek, Paul Curry of Albany, Heather Curry of Mineral, Abby Hillyer (Kirk) of Glouster and Adam Curry (Michelle) of Johnstown; his stepgrandchildren, Steven Williamson Jr. (Kelsey Nelson) of Chauncey, Emma Wheeler of Mineral, Ohio., Andrew Wheeler of Mineral, Ohio., Micah Wheeler of Mineral, Ohio., Ella Wheeler of Mineral, Ohio. and Evva Boles of Mineral, Ohio.; his uncle Dicky Mingus; his aunt Shirley Mingus; and his friend Bobby Leaper.

“I recently read in the Ohio U alumni magazine of Bill's passing. I got to know Bill when I worked at the Information Desk at Baker Center in the early 1980s. Bill provided great support and guidance to help deal with a multitude of requirements in what was a very busy student centre. Bill was a key member of Baker Center then (+ Lorraine McMurray, Terry Hogan, Lois McKibben). I also recall that Bill was a great outdoorsman. Condolences to the family. Frank Madden, Windsor, UK.”
