He was predeceased by: his parent Adrian Sayre; his wife Donna Welch Sayre; and his siblings, Eugene Roofe, Donald Roofe and Clarine Chercony.
He is survived by: his parent Marie Sisson Baker; his children, Bill Sayre (Tara) of Millfield and Lisa Azbell (Greg) of Glouster; his grandchildren, Kayla and Tyler Sayre; his sister-in-law Garnetta Roofe; and his close friend Alberta Smith.
