It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Hillyer (Jacksonville, Ohio), born in Murray City, Ohio, who passed away on February 21, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Hillyer and Erma Johnson Hillyer. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Carter Hillyer of Jacksonville; his children, Stephanie Hillyer of Norwalk and Kirk Hillyer (Abby) of Glouster; and his grandsons, Cody Silcox and Liam Schroeder. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
