She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Smith and Bonnie North Smith; her husband Richard Downs; her brother Jeff Smith; her stepson Chris Downs; and her brother-in-law Carl Hampton.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Beth Steyer (Ray) of Jacksonville; her granddaughters, Lindsey Doudna (Braden) of Pomeroy, Katie Steyer of Millfield and Nicole Steyer of Hilliard; her great grandchild Elizabeth Shutts; her stepchildren, John Downs, Sara Joyce and Tessa Downs; and her siblings, Russell Smith (Debbie) of Wilmington Island, GA, Randy Smith (Donna) of Glouster and Robin Hampton of Jacksonville. She is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
