She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Deeter and Lucy Deeter; her former husband Robert Bowser; her daughters, Dawnita (Jose Perez) and Darletta (Martin Martinez); her sisters, Sue Matheny and Faith Willoughby; her grandchildren, Domingo Martinez Jr. (Cydney), Caroline Smith (Charles), Julio Martinez (Sarah), Catherine Cook, Natalie Martinez, Iliana Toledo and Ronnie Jordan (Kristy); her great grandchildren, Micah, Braelyn, Magnolia, Cecilia, Hunter, Luca and Ivelisse; her stepchildren, Linda Jordan and Bobby Bowser; and her husband Earle McCandlish.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Carolyn's home church, Central Church of the Nazarene in Jacksonville, Florida, or Community Hospice of Jacksonville, Florida.
