With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita P. Simons of Jacksonville, Ohio, who passed away on February 16, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke Scurlock and Mona Anderson Scurlock; her sister Mary Jo Williamson; and her half-brother Chick Nichols. She is survived by: her husband Jim Simons; her sons, Sam Simons (Brenda) of Glouster, Gary Simons (Amy) of Jacksonville and John Simons of Florida; and her grandchildren, Shawn, Stephanie, Nathan Simons, Jason Simons, Anitra Martin, Brittany, Bethany and Brandi Simons. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
