He was predeceased by: his parent Alvin Edward Malone Sr.; his sister Mary Kieffer; his father-in-law Norman Tinkham; his stepfather Fritz Romanowski; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Keirns and Jim Campbell.
He is survived by: his parent Edna Lemoine Malone Romanowski; his wife Deborah Tinkham Malone of Jacksonville; his children, Rose Ann McDonald (Brian) of Buchtel, Keith Malone of Jacksonville and Alvin L.; his grandchildren, Steven McDonald, Brianna McDonald and Bailey McDonald; his sisters, Ruth Keirns of Glouster and Dora Campbell of Jacksonville; his mother-in-law Verna Tinkham of Morristown; and his brother-in-law Pearl Kieffer of Murray City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
