He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gilliland and Elizabeth Gilliland (Jones); his wife Denise Gilliland (Foster); his brothers, Jim Gilliland and Floyd; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Rose (Foster) and John Brown; his parents-in-law, Edgar and Kathleen Foster (Landrum); and his nephew Floyd Matthew Rose.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shanna Boggs (Arrick) of Oak Hill and Bethany McCarty (Jim) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Brynna Morgan (Isaac), Darrick Boggs (Taylor Evans), Grant, Luke and Owen McCarty; his siblings, Kay Brown of Freemont and Monte Gilliland (Linda) of Jackson; and his siblings-in-law, Greg Foster (Brenda) of Wellston, Stephen Foster of Waverly and Kay Gilliland of Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.
