Ruby Stewart Evans Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2024, at the age of 94, Ruby Stewart Evans (Jackson, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Stewart and Cora Stewart (Hughes). She is survived by: her siblings, James, Bonnie and Clarabelle; her spouse Thomas Bayes Evans; her sister-in-law Jean (Evans); her grandson Tom; her sister Barbara Turck; her children, Tracey Barnett (Rod) of Jackson, Thomas Evans (Kimberly) of Dallas and Teri Geiger (Roger) of Dublin, Ohio.; her grandchildren, Matt Staten (Corina) of Oxford, Cory Gallagher (Derek) of Pickerington, Brandon Staten (Lauren) of Jackson, Thomas Evans, Jr. (Victoria) of Columbus, Karly Burley (Reid) of Dallas and Ryan Evans of Denver, Colorado; and her caregivers, Robert Tejano and Lindsey Metter. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

She witnessed her grandchildren's' graduations and weddings, the birth of great grandchildren, and her 90th birthday celebration held on Zoom during the COVID pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ruby's honor to Christ Church of Jackson.
