With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Barr of Jackson, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma Barr to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dewey Barr; her parents, McClellan "Clell" Everett Gain and Thelma Marie Jones Gain; her siblings, Charles Everett Gain, Jack Gain and Betty McClary (Gain); and her son-in-law John Channell.
She is survived by: her sisters, Dottie Dunbar (Gain) and Barbara Lemieux (Gain); her children, Gene Barr (Patti), Melody Austin (Dennis) and Otto Barr (Camie); her grandchildren, Lee, Martha (Ty), Kimberly (Patrick), Ottie (Cynthia) and Eli (Caitlin); and her great grandchildren, Harmony, Charlotte, Joshua, Eliana and Eli Dewey Dean.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Church of Christ (201 N Minnesota Ave, Wellston, OH 45692).
