It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John R. Strickland Jr. of Jackson, Ohio, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Strickland and Garnet Strickland (McCombs); his wife Frances Kay Strickland; and his sister Ruth Strickland. He is survived by: his sons, David Strickland (Holly) and Dale Strickland (Debi); and his grandchildren, Heather Davies (Sean), Joshua Strickland, Anthony Strickland (Kayleigh) and Aaron Strickland (Alyssa). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
