He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rafferty and Edna Rafferty (Hensley); his siblings, Dale, Denzil, Alma, Mary and Madeline; his wife Juanita Rafferty (Joy); his daughter Mona Emma Rafferty; and his grandchildren, Daniel Ray Bachtel and Alisha Kay Warren.
He is survived by: his sister Alice Rafferty-Bush (Marilyn Collins Rafferty); his children, Leila Christian Heinz (Brad), Eva Bachtel (Clyde), Melissa Blain (Glen), Bill Rafferty (Sarah) and David Rafferty (Andrea); and his grandchildren, Leala, Matthew, Jamin (Christian), Susan, Bill, Johnny, Heather (McBride), Lindsay (Blain), Ariel, George, Will, Casey, Isaac, Luke (Rafferty), Aislynn and Noah (Rafferty).
The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, starting at 2:00 p. m. Due to COVID-19 recommendations from the Ohio Department of Health and the Jackson County Health Department, the wearing of masks and proper social distancing is highly encouraged.
