She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Schalmo and Lucille Schalmo (Colopy); and her granddaughter Justine Thewes. She is survived by: her husband James R. Thewes; her children, Michael Thewes, Douglas Thewes (Jennifer) and Wendy Bolles (Jon); her siblings, Donald Schalmo (Carol), Paul Schalmo (Judy), John Schalmo (Kelly), Rita Marchand (Dave) and Roseann Bowser; and her grandchildren, Keara Thewes, Jon Bolles, Jr., Nathan Bolles, Amber Smith (Erik), Michael Franklin and Hallie Franklin.
