He is survived by: his children, Megan Buchholz (Michael) and Jonathan Akers; his granddaughter Jenna Marie Sefcovic; his sisters, Alice Lehew and Helen Lanier; his niece Sarah Cancel (Mike); his nephews, David Lehew (Wendy), Jakim Lanier, Micah Lanier (Ashley) and Aaron Lanier (Brandy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaden Cancel, Haidyn, Macabee, Beck, Alexis, Charlotte, Tynley, Grant and Paige; and his close friend Mark Parker.
