He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hurley and Phyllis Hurley (Bell); his siblings, Beverly Jean, Frank and John; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce and Patsy.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Hurley (Korn); his children, Robert Hurley (Alexandra) and Vikki Sensabaugh (Quentin); his granddaughters, Lexan and Raelyn; his siblings, Janice York (Ed), Bev Suttles (Tom), Nancy Jackson (Melvin), Doug Hurley and Phil Hurley (Robin); and his daughter Yants Beef Jerky. He is also survived by his 29 nieces and nephews, 78 great-nieces and nephews, and 21 great-great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Methodist Church (202 E Pike St, Jackson Center, OH 45334). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N. County Rd. 25A, Troy, OH 45373, or Jackson Center Methodist Church, 202 E. Pike St., Jackson Center, OH 45334.
