He is survived by : his wife Barbara Howerton (Young); his son Shannon Howerton (Jessica); his grandchildren, Jessica Howerton, Jaymee Skelly (Cody), Ashley Carroll, Thomas Howerton and Tyler Howerton; his great grandchildren, Ashlynn Ruark and Ayrius Skelly; his brother Jim Frans; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Young, Jeff Young and Amy Banfield (Kenny).
