He is survived by: his spouse Elizabeth Wildermuth; and his children, Jeff Vanhoose of Jackson Center, Teresa Vanhoose of Jackson Center, Lisa Purtee (Dean) of Jackson Center, Kathy Purtee (Jeff) of Quincy, Joyce Metz (Duane) of Jackson Center and Marcy Kohler (Bob) of Botkins. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
