He was predeceased by : his father-in-law William Jerew; his brother Roger Pitts; his son Gregg Pitts Jr.; and his niece Amanda Pitts. He is survived by : his wife Joni Pitts (Jerew) of Jackson Center; his daughter Chasity Nicholl (Pitts) of Jackson Center, Ohio; his stepsons, Matthew Preston (Laurie) of Sunbury and Bill Preston (Misty) of Marion, Ohio; his grandchildren, Austin, Shelby, Landen Nicholl, Megan, Olivia and Jackson Preston; his great grandchild Walker Dempsey; his siblings, Thomas Pitts of Dayton, William Pitts of Colorado Springs, CO, David Pitts of Kenton and Vicky Heath of Sidney; his sister-in-law Debbie Pacha (David) of Richwood, Ohio; and his mother-in-law Grace Jerew of Richwood, Ohio.
