He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Pancake and Phyllis Pancake (Lawless); his wife Mary Winifred Pancake; and his brothers, James Pancake, John Pancake and Jerry Pancake.
He is survived by: his children, William David Pancake (Margaret) of Coal Grove and Deanna Lynn Preston (Bill James) of Ironton; his granddaughters, Stephanie E. Leonhart (Doug), Samantha D. Meyers and Audrey L. Preston (Elijah Roberts); his great grandchildren, Lillian Jade Ison, Anden Jacob Wight and Brentlee Dean Roberts; and his siblings, Beverly Hunt, Hershel Pancake, Jr., Dolly June Payne, Dan Pancake, Betty Jo Burke and Kathy Sue Jenkins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home (518 S 6th St, Ironton, OH 45638). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
