He is survived by: his children, Walter Spears (Sun) of Manassa, VA and Dana Young (Jeff) of Flint, MI; his brothers, Gary Spears and Don Spears (Lucy); his grandchildren, Chrissa Spears, Heather Dorton, Shawn Spears and Kayla Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Anthony, Johnny and Tobeigh.
