Russell William Parsons Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell William Parsons of Ironton, Ohio, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Parsons and Anita Parsons of Ironton, OH.; his wife Corliss Jean Harrison Parsons; his stepmother Jean Koerper Parsons; his brothers, Harold, Lyle, Gayle and Ronnie Parsons; and his grandson Samuel Parsons.
He is survived by: his sons, Derek Parsons (Jessica) of South Point, OH and Jerod Parsons (April) of Barboursville, WV; his grandson Eli Parsons of South Point, OH; his siblings, Pat Parsons Roberts of Coal Grove, OH, Martha Parsons Tyler of Moreno Valley, CA and Frank Parsons of Delaware, OH; and his brother-in-law Lonnie Harrison (Peggy) of South Point, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, & close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (1004 S 7th St, Ironton, OH 45638). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
