With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Ann Blair of Ironton, Ohio, who passed away on January 7, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold W. Shafer and Rose Shafer (Haas); her children, Rae Ann Blair and Jack Andrew "Andy Blair"; her grandson Christopher Blair; and her sister Mary McMackin.
She is survived by: her grandson Rick Blair (Debra) of Corolla, NC; her great grandchildren, Ashley Lynn Cooper (Blair) of Lenoir City, TN, Demi Eicher of Ironton, Aiden Blair of Coal Grove and Hayley Blair of Ironton; her siblings, Quinn Nethercutt, Maxwell Cooper, Weston, Jon, Jack Blair of Nashville, TN and Leah; her pet Artie; and also, Carolyn Reeves (Everett) of Ashland, KY and Tom Shafer (Becky) of Phoenix, AZ.
The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
