She was predeceased by: her father Burl Carmon, Jr.; and her brother Merlin Ralph Carmon. She is survived by: her mother Wanda Carmon (Koster); her husband Thomas Leo Vance, Sr.; her children, Cassie Vance and Thomas Leo Vance, Jr.; and her brother Michael A. Carmon (Tresa).
