He was predeceased by: his parents, Meriett Sanders and Pauline Frye Sanders; and his siblings, Clyde Sanders, Idell Fowler (Elmer), Sharon Church (Melvin) and Shirley Watson (Virgil).
He is survived by: his wife Judith Wood Sanders; his siblings, Carolyn Beaver (Johnny), Betty Jean Watson (Hollis), Jackie Sanders and John Sanders (Sharon); his children, Jeffrey Sanders of Gallipolis and Jacqueline Sanders Hatfield of Monument, Colorado; his grandchildren, Joshua Sanders of Peterborough and Ellie Sanders Jackson of Kailua; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Eldon and Wesley.
