She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Nourse and Bess Nourse; her husband Daniel Joseph Carey; her grandchildren, D. J. Carey III and Randall Keith Fields II; her nephews, Mitchell Phillip Carey and John Robert Carey; and her siblings, Jerry "Scoop" Nourse, Ralph "Bud" Nourse, Norma Lou Bruce and Geraldine Blakeman.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Keith Fields (Kim) of Boyd County, D. J, Carey II of Russell and Crystal Elaine Heckel (Bill) of New London, OH.; her sister Carol Nourse of Columbus, OH.; her grandchildren, Betsy Callihan (Terry) of Raceland, Frank Heckel (Jozie) of Wilmington and Brittany Fields; and her great grandchildren, Rylie Sue-anne Cook of Russell, Cullen Callihan of Flatwoods, Jayden Callihan of Raceland, Noah Carey of Ashland, Layla Carey and Robert Aycock.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sharon Baptist Church (2010 S 5th St, Ironton, OH 45638).
