He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Eugene Gleim; and his sisters, Maurita Willis and Geneva Gleim. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Riley Gleim; his children, Loren Barry Gleim, Russell Alan Gleim and Christina May (Scott); his brother Galen Gleim; and his grandchildren, Nikki Skidmore, Emily Gleim, J. C. Goodwin, Cassidy Martin, Austin May, Luke May and Lauren Gleim. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests. Memorial Contributions be made in Loren's name to the Wheelersburg Alumni Scholarship Fund or Green Township Alumni Scholarship Fund or St. John's Lutheran Memorial Fund.
