He is survived by: his children, Dean Hackworth (Mitzi) of Cincinnati, OH, Darren Hackworth (Joann) of Alexandria, KY, John Hackworth (Kayla) of Ironton, OH, Shane Hackworth (Jamie Stapleton) of Pedro, OH, Adam Hackworth of Ironton, OH, Cindy Hackworth-Boone (Jeff) of Hoquian, WA and Roberta Hackworth-Mimms (David) of New Salisbury, IN; his sister Phyllis; his friend Carol Freeman of Ironton, OH; and his brother Kenny Hackworth of Christiansburg, OH.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (1004 S 7th St, Ironton, OH 45638). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Mamre Cemetery (2367 Co Rd 182, Kitts Hill, OH 45645).
