He is survived by: his wife Nina Gillenwater (Lambert); his children, John Gillenwater (Amanda) of Ironton, Jim Gillenwater (Missy) of Willow Wood, Angie Gillenwater Murphy of Ironton, Joe Gillenwater (Ginger) of Ashland and Kari Gillenwater of Ironton; his grandchildren, Steve Murphy (Marsha), Nichole Bryant (Jacob), Megan Curnutte, Marisa Barnett (Jeff), Kaleigh, Amelia and Eric Gillenwater; his great grandchildren, Joselyn, Jasmine, Ella, Lexie, Gracie, Peighton, Cooper of Ethan, CJ, Titus, Xavier and Violet; his brother Ray Gillenwater (Lois); and his siblings-in-law, Rhonda Cummins, John Lambert and Robert McKnight.
