He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Spears and Margie Blackburn Spears; and his siblings, Dottie Lou Large and Donald Ray Spears. He is survived by: his wife Christy Wilson Spears; his children, Jeremy Spears, John Edmond Spears (Amanda), Grover Spears, Joshua Spears (Brittany), Emily Ann Spears and Natasha Chapman Blanton (Gabe); his sisters, Reva Jean Williamson, Phyllis Fay Spears and Evelyn Marie Spears; his grandsons, Elijah Spears, Grover David Spears, Joshua Spears and Colin Spears; and the mother of his children Debra Ann Spears.
