He is survived by: his wife Anita Hammond; his daughter Sarah Deere (Beth); his grandchildren, Calix, Mila and Raiden; and his siblings, Gregory Hammond, Carlos Hammond, Wesley Hammond and Anita Lynn Herring. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
