He was predeceased by: his parents, Rubin Taylor and Edith Bass Taylor; his siblings, Terry Seward, Mark Seward, Ruben Taylor Jr., Edward Taylor and Carolyn Bacon; and his granddaughter Sanijah Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole King (Bill Gore) of Ironton, Ciara of Ironton, Eric Layne of Ironton, Edi Taylor (Julius Sudderth) of Ironton, Jason Taylor II (Cheyann Pemberton) of Ironton, Alexandra Taylor of Ironton and Dakota Taylor of Ironton; his grandchildren, CJ McCall, Amar Howard, Lexus McCall, Jackson Christian, Aiden Layne, Ashton Layne, Averie Layne, Kaliah Taylor, Skyler Suddereth, Scarlet Sudderth, Charles Yates, Jason P. Taylor III, Layla Wilkerson and Graylynn Taylor; his sisters-in-law, Judy Seward of Louisville and Carol Seward of Ironton; his uncle Ray Taylor of Chicago; and also John Seward (Tammie). He is also survived by cousins and nieces and nephews.
