It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Butler of Ironton, Ohio, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jacob Butler and Anna Butler (Wiley); his siblings, Judy Butler, Betty Butler, Larry Butler and Mike Butler; his mother-in-law Faye Darby; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Darby, Danny Johnson and Ella Darby.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Butler (Darby); his children, Kelli Lutz (Robert) of Naples, FL and Dana Patterson (Jamie) of Hilliard, OH; his siblings, John Butler (Vickie) of Ironton, Hilda Wilson (Matt) of Pedro, OH, Tammy Bedell (Larry) of Zephrihills, FL and Faith Clune (Daniel) of South Webster, OH; his mothers-in-law, Linda Butler of Ironton and Kathy Butler of Ironton; his grandsons, Nicholas Lutz (Darby Neil), Brady Patterson, Landon Patterson and Logan Patterson; his parents-in-law, Roy Darby (Lynn), James Darby (Anita), Elizabeth Darby (Ronald), Connie Messer (Victor), Michael Darby (Jackie), Richard Darby (Rita) and Christy Johnson; and his close friends, Karen Mullins, Terry Mays and Richard Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
