She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Whitely and Florence Whitely (Heading); her husband Jim Steed; and her siblings, Robert Whitely, Dennis Whitely and Mildred Whitely.
She is survived by: her siblings, Carol Crisp (Ray) of Morehead, KY and Glenn Whitely (Halley) of Columbus, OH; her nieces and nephews, Cheryl Ward, Heather Moore, Holli Shahan, Piper Moore, Sybil Trinarco, Kathy Smith, Amanda Castle, Steve Cornell, Niko Cornell, Colin Cornell, Jason Cornell, Christopher Shahan and Robert Whitely; and her caregivers, Larry and Tina Webb.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (1004 S 7th St, Ironton, OH 45638). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:45 PM and at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Woodland Cemetery (824 Lorain St, Ironton, OH 45638).
