She was predeceased by: her parents, Haskel Lynd and Mellie Lynd (Moore). She is survived by: her husband Harold J. Woodruff; her siblings, Alice Bennett, Freda Bowman, Evelyn Cochran, Melba Cochran, Betty Woodruff, Garland Lynd and Bill Lynd; her granddaughter Sarah Lynn Morgan; her children, Doug Woodruff (Joyce), Susan Morgan (Jack) and Peggy Harrison (Lonnie); her grandchildren, John Woodruff (Jennie), Carla Reid (Shawn), Jennifer Elkins (Justin), Michelle Collins (Bill) and Brady Harrison (Kara); her great grandchildren, Lexi, Vince, Will Woodruff, Sami, Sophie Reid, Morgan, Emily Elkins, Ashley, Tyler Collins and Karissa Harrison; and her great great grandchild Emma Collins.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations can be made in Garnets memory to the St. Jude's Children Research Center, 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105, it was a organization that Garnet held dear to her heart and faithfully donated too.
