With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fredrick R. Heighton of Ironton, Ohio, who passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Heighton and Violet Tibbs Heighton; his wife Betty J. Heighton; his grandson Shane Bostic; and his siblings, George Heighton, Lenny Heighton, Ruth Cornelius, Vera Hoskins and Norma Delawder.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Ayers (Jeff) of South Point, OH, Sherry Hackworth (Steve) of Pedro, OH, Rebecca Ackison of Ironton, OH and Kimberly Gleichauf (Carl) of Ironton, OH; his grandchildren, Rodney Bostic, Sheila Cremeans, Ryan Hackworth, James Seth Kelley, Logan Gleichauf and Alaina Gleichauf; his great grandchildren, Mason, Allie, Jack, Skyler and Shailey; and his sisters, Ann Webb of Ironton, OH and Sara Heighton of Ironton, OH. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
