She was predeceased by: her parents, Logan Stapleton and Virgie Stewart Stapleton; her husband Jeremiah Horner (Jerry); and her son Randy Horner. She is survived by: her children, Gerald Horner of Franklin Furnace, Sheryl Salyers (Scott) of Ashland and Kevin "Rocky" Horner (Diann) of Kenova, W. V.; her grandchildren, Jessica McDaniel (Michael), Dallas Horner, Wesley Horner (Robin), Jason Salyers (Haley), Amanda Stover (Stephen), Sarah Bartram (Cody) and Shannon Whitis; and her sister Dorothy Stamper of Franklin Furnace. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
