With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lee Owens of Ironton, Ohio, born in Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on June 9, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact David Lee had on those he encountered along his journey. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ossie Rutherford and Sally Genevieve Ransbottom Owens; and his sister Anna Wright. He is survived by: his wife Karen Miller Owens; his children, Michael Owens and Jami Smith (Joey); and his siblings, Paul Owens, Ken Owens, Debi Smith (Laddie), Connie Rutherford (Gordon) and Brenda McComas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
