He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Sizemore and Rosetta Sizemore (Kidd); his wife Racine Sizemore (Frazier); his sisters, Nola Mae Sizemore, Sharon K. Smith, Gloria Jean Vencill, Virginia Richardson and Joyce Kelley; and his great-nephew Josiah Doyle.
He is survived by: his sister Gail Barnhart (F. D.); and his children, Brian Johnson (Pam) of Ashland, KY, Kenneth Johnson (Cora) of Fairborn, OH, Beth "Belva" Lane (William) of Jefferson City, MO, Norma Carman (Kenneth) of Ironton, OH and Dennis Johnson of Ashland, KY. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
