He is survived by: his wife Ora Jean Dickess (Roberts); and his children, Danny Lee Dickess (Carolyn Bryant) of Coal Grove, Ronnie Dickess (Marg) of Coal Grove, Connie D. Brown of Ironton and D. J. Gore (Scott) of Kitts Hill. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
