With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clyde E. Wheeler of Ironton, Ohio, born in Ashland, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 11, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Wheeler and Effie Marie Relford Wheeler; his wife Barbara G. Compston Wheeler; and his siblings, Charlene Wolfe, Robert Wheeler and Jimmie Wheeler.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Dilley (Tom) of St. Louis, Teresa Hardy (Chris) of Ironton, Rebecca Harper (Dwain) of Kitts Hill, Bryan Wheeler of Ironton and Jeffery Wheeler (Michelle) of Franklin Furnace, Ohio.; and his siblings, Nellie Blankenship of Walled Lake, Chuck Wheeler of South Point and Harry Wheeler of South Point, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Heartland Hospice.
