He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Meadows and Edna Phillips Meadows; his daughter Denise Ison; and his siblings, Judy Munro, Una Thomas, Everett Meadows and Roger Dodson.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Meadows; his children, Clayton Jerry Jr. Meadows (Lisa) of Flatwoods, KY, Treva Moring (Robert) of North Carolina and Sherry Hazelton (Barry) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Clayton Meadows, Amanda Myers, Matthew Moring and Brittany Saunders; his brothers, Dan Thomas (Terri) and Rick Barrett; and his close friends, Frank Edwards and Steve "Sarg" Belyus. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
