It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Payton of Ironton, Ohio, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carl Payton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cosper James "Cos" and Oakley (Nelson); and his siblings, Roy Payton, Nelson Payton and Mildred Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Faye Payton (Callicoat); his children, Jack Wade Payton (Marcia) of Gallipolis, OH and Carla Fay Payton West (Dave) of The Woodlands, TX; his grandsons, Jeremy Wade Payton of Centerville, OH and Jefferey Wade Payton of Columbus, OH; and his great grandchildren, Nellie Payton and Jackson Wade Payton.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mamre Cemetery (2367 Co Rd 182, Kitts Hill, OH 45645).
