He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Browning and Beatrice Browning (Griffith); his sisters, Barbara Moreland (Browning) and Mary Elizabeth Gerhardt (Browning); his mother-in-law Margaret Kimes; his son-in-law Darrell Cartmill; his nephews, Darrell Heaberlin and Daniel Browning; and his brothers-in-law, Don Howard, Mart Howard and Ray Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Browning (Howard); his children, Jerry Browning (Norma), Teresa Cartmill (Darrell) of Ironton and Ginger Lilly (Robert) of Ironton; his brothers, George Browning (Cheryl) of Pompano Beach and Marvin Houser of Georgia; his grandchildren, Justin Mullens (Amy), Jacob Browning (Samantha), Maeghan Cartmill, Olivia Houser, Maereah Daniel (Jake) and Jarrett Cartmill; and his great grandchildren, Makenzie, Colby, Rhett Mullens, Hudson, Bella and Jackson Daniel.
