He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Imes, Sr. and Nancy Louise Imes (Moore Sands); his son Ronald Allen Imes; and his half-brothers, Charles Russell Sands, Herbert Sands and Donald Sands.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Imes (Woodburn); his son David Lee Imes (Bettina) of Fairborn; his granddaughter Lauren Nicole Holman (Brant); and his great grandchildren, Brodie Andrew Holman and Harper Ann Holman of Cookeville, Tennessee..
