She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ford Bates and Myrtis Christian (McNeece); and her brothers, James Larry Bates and John Author Bates. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Lyons of Ironton, James Pena of Ironton and Timothy Lyons of Raceland, Kentucky.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (1004 S 7th St, Ironton, OH 45638).
