He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpha Sharp, Jr. and Mary Lou Sharp (Rowe); and his son John "Sparky" Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sharp; his children, Glendon Michael Sharp of Reedsville, Patricia "Sissy" Sharp of Ashland and James Joseph Sharp of Ironton; his sister Victoria Roberts of Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Courtney Kaplan, Maria Minear and Hannah Hunter.
