It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah A. Smith-Ferry of Irondale, Ohio, born in Wellsville, Ohio, who passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Thomas and Mabel Lucille McCullough (Jarvis); and her siblings, Joann Howell and William Thomas McCullough. She is survived by: her former husband James G. Smith, Jr.; her husband Glenn Ferry; her children, Paula Cole (Mike) of Tipp City, OH, Jason Smith (Jody) of Irondale and James Smith of East Liverpool; her stepdaughter Bridget Lease of Irondale; her siblings, Cindy Hays (Ray) of Wellsville, Jeannie Jackson (Kenny) of East Liverpool, Sheryl Gibson (Gibby) of Wellsville and John McCullough (Linda) of Wellsville; her sister-in-law Pam McCullough of Wellsville; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Ayla, Nunzio, Kaylee, Avery, Preston, Jessey, Kristen, Alex, Leah, Sarah, Annabelle, Max and Katie. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
