He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Minor and Leveda Minor (Springer); his son John Minor; his siblings, Mary, Barbara, Virgil, Bob, Ralph, Jerry and Floyd; and his grandchildren, Colleen and John Devon.
He is survived by: his wife Velma "Peg" Minor (Morris); and his sons, Roger Minor (Marjorie) of Salineville and Tom Minor (Carol) of Wellsville. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
